What's your weather like August 2024

It finally turned out quite hot.
Overcast this morning, supposed to be wet but no sign of it yet.

 

The good weather they forecast for the next week to 10 days has fizzled out.

Heavy cloud and a cool breeze at the moment. Maybe sunny intervals later. It was meant to rain at 5pm, but that has fizzled out too.

Best to do one's own forecast. Could be anything.

 

Good morning all, dull with a high of 18c ,rain forecasted for this afternoon ,so another gloomy day weather wise.

 

Seem to have missed a day?
Well it's chuckin' it darn and not very warm, so dark I need the lamp on, might be getting close to lighting a fire too, at least it's light rain and not too windy

 

It is hot and humid out there already, 29c and 70%, sun out fully now, no breeze.

Here is how it looked at 7.30pm yesterday with the misting on ... our excuse for rain! The Hibiscus love it.

 

We are at 32c now and overcast with a breeze which has brought in the dust from Africa which we will have for several days now.

 

It’s much warmer outside than the announced 21c.
BBC is quite off with their weather. Yahoo says what it is: 24c Sunshine pure.

 

The day improved as it went along, almost totally clear sky now and it reached 26c during the afternoon.
24c now and the pesky wind appears to have dropped some.

 

All day it's been cloudy and a gentle breeze from the south west temp 21c feels like 23c
A while ago there were 2 light rain showers.

 

We have been running the same all afternoon, just dropped to 31c ... this is not fun I can assure you ... this is wearing on the body and soul.

 

Early start for me as I volunteer at our local walled garden. I was weeder/pruner for the wildlife garden section and it got quite warm the sun came out and had to put sun cream on. Collected 2 big buckets of weeds both transferred into our compost homemade bins we've got 6 altogether. It was around 19c today looking forward to the rest of the week could be 'summer' for a few days .

Just stood in the garden for a few seconds, nice warm with 14c, and there were a few rain drops but stopped shortly later.
