What's your weather like August 2024

Lovely and sunny, we're promised 18C today!

 

Good morning all ,sun and cloud with a high of 19c .

 

Cornwall.

Yesterday eventually turned out dry, hot and humid.
There is high cloud now, some blue sky and mild. Supposed to be turning hot.

 

It’s brightening up here and should be dry so risked a towel wash.

 

We have had sunshine all day, very nice temperature with around 22c, and no breeze. Perfect.

 

Well the temperature has dropped but still got to 25c which is nice, sunshine and not far off unbroken all day, just a few small clouds around now.

 

Cloudy for most of the day and max 19c. But this was ideal for doing outdoor paintwork.

Very dry soil and deep cracks. Impossible to dig over as it's clay. I keep meaning to dig out the compost and spread it around, but this is bone dry too. No rain till Monday they say.

Gets dark early!

 

It’s still an hour and a half for me.

 

Actually, a pleasant day ... Low 30s all afternoon, dropped to 29c around 5ish, so played cards then sat out till now, 7.45pm and 24c with a gusty sharp breeze.

 

A perfect summer's day - 22, no breeze, mostly sunny. To be savoured, I suspect, given the time of the year.

I don't know why but I always wake up at 2 on Fridays knowing I can sleep longer again over the weekend.

Currently 9c, but doesn't feel that cold, 23c expected, sunshine up to lunch time, and followed by clouds with sunshine.

Next week is a kind of turning point, I see more rain on the radar. If that materialises is another question.
