What's your weather like August 2024

AuntyRch, I’m not that far from Cardiff and our sunset is currently 20:51.
Around this time of the year is perfect for me, because it’s dark on time and I can start working in dawn.

 

34c and I hope not rising any more!

 

Sunset here is at 20.40 tonight.
Sunrise tomorrow is at 5.27.

By the end of the month sunset is 19.45.

It started cloudy then sunny periods and now cloudy again.
It did reach 26c for a short time.

 

Wet start, but it soon cleared up to be a warm and sunny day. The breeze did have a cool feel at times, but that's probably because we are so used to the hot weather we've had.

Sunset is later here at 20:55. The nights are now cooler and better for sleeping.

However, a wood pigeon has set up in the fir tree just by the bedroom window and it starts off at sunrise and is extraordinarily loud. I can hear it now - just doesn't stop. I will have to get a long cane and give it a poke.

 

Thankfully we stopped at 34,3c and it is 30,6c now.

 

Some rain overnight and much cooler, thankfully. 22 today but felt a lot warmer in the humidity. Sunny.

Damp, cloudy start here, with an o'night low of 13 degrees [13 / 14 just now at approx. 7.55 am] with apredicted high of about 17 degrees. There's to be a mix this morning of some light rain and overcast conditions, with increasing winds. Heavier, more persistent rain to come later in the aftn./early eve. with the ongoing winds.

Yesterday was predominantly dry, with the sun coming through and staying until early eve. when there was a little bit of rain. The high was 19/20 degrees, and there was a nice breeze.

 

Bright and sunny but no breeze, 22c. "Not as warm today" only going to the low 30s!
