I just had a chuckle looking at the month's forecast ...

Cloudy; a couple of morning showers followed by rain and drizzle in the afternoon.

I am pleased they have decided on the wetness.

 

Morning all 7c cloudy but no rain ,like Colin we have had enough lawns are like swamps.

After a wild, wet and windy night, it is now calm, drizzly and 8 degrees any gardening at this time of year is wither indoors or in my head...........planning.

 

It is sunny in front of the house but is lightly overcast out back (West), 17c and 90% humidity with a light breeze.

 

Was sunny but now it's cloudy temp 9c feels like 7c with a moderate breeze from the south west.

Thanks @NigelJ. Planting rice here in Yorkshire would usually be wet enough but as to temperature often it would still be too cold in even in summer.

I'm not a gardener so have lots to learn; it took a bit longer to get the garden ready to receive plants because I had to clear the forest first and dig up big stumps; now I've got the plants the weather is dire but rightly or wrongly as soon as I can plant them in the garden I will and they'll either grow or die off; plants survive in nature so fingers crossed.

We've just returned home to heavy rain but we did see a beautiful rainbow earlier this morning; it can be classed as daylight today unlike yesterday when it was night all day it being so dark.

Local fields are still flooded but the roads are clear apart from puddles so it's not all bad.

Its been dry and mostly sunny today, I think we must have missed a lot of the rain yesterday as I only got 4 mm in the gauge yesterday, but its been slow to dry today so still very soggy.
11C high.

 

Sunshine and annoying little showers with temps of 15C / 8C and a SSE breeze. Our roofer has proposed doing the work we've been waiting for since March next week ....rain is forecast every day He can take a hike until at least April

 

Probably all his other customers have told him the same, which is why he can "fit" you in.

 

No rain here today. We had lots of sunshine during the morning but in the afternoon it clouded over. No more than 9C max today with light winds. Min tonight 7C. Rain tomorrow morning.
