      Hi,

      Thanks @Sheal for the information; I knew up north was even worse than it is here; you always get snow before us.

      Thanks @ChrisM6 for the link to the weather site; I've just had a look; here's the forecast;

      I don't know why I bothered with the Met Office daily joke the only thing they ever got right was the daily temperature and credit due they are usually bang on but the rest of the forecast is rubbish. We live very near The Pennines which causes lots of weather problems;

      Just before getting up I heard Noah sail on again; we're under water again before it even gets light although it didn't get light at all yesterday, not moaning just the way it is and I can always find plenty of jobs to keep me busy. :yes:

      Kind regards, Colin.

        It is a mild 12c and there could be some light showers in the area this morning. Going to 17/18c today.

                  I moved from Yorkshire to Essex in the 70s and it was very noticeable how much foggier the autumns are further south, often the fogs turn into mist for whole days. I got used to it now so when I go back up north to visit family it's great to see the 'big' skies again.

                      I can only remember about one foggy morning this autumn, although it has been pretty cloudy but as usual that comes with mild weather.
                      For various reasons I remember Christmas 10 yrs ago and it was flooded around here and very stormy.

                        The last day of torrential rain here for, oh, at least 4 days :yahoo: 8C / 14C. It's going to turn sunny but cold. The flooded fields will turn into massive skating rinks. I'm going to dig out my ski sticks and venture down the slope to see if I've still got a polytunnel :biggrin:

                            Its still drizzle and 7c here, but now a strong Northerly wind has spring up and its awful.
                            I assume at some point it might get daylight, it was lights on all yesterday afternoon and the same today.

                              Hi,

                              Referring back to my post #257 "Rain continuing until 11:30" it's now 2:42pm and not a drop of rain has fallen. It's getting dark though.

                              Kind regards, Colin.
