What's your weather Like December 2023

I have the same problem.
On sunny days, even if its only around 0c I can turn the heating off for a few hours but this gloomy freezing weather means I have to keep some heating on just to make it bearable.

Once the house gets cold it takes loads of heating to get it back up to a sensible temperature, probably more than you can save by turning it off.

 

-3c last night and 3c today, the sunny afternoon forecast was just heavy cloud all day. The morning mist has now returned.

 

Clear sky and light winds from the south south east temp -1c feels like -5c
Some snow is forecast late tonight into tomorrow.

 

-9C/16F between 6-7am this morning. Frosty, sunny and not a cloud in sight all day. Top temp. -1C/30F.

I am relieved to see rain this morning. The place looks and feels normal again, and I feel more like myself again.
There is no sunshine but I don't care, it's milder and that's what counts.

 

3c and damp rather that wet.
Cloudy with a breeze.

 

Same here too pete,we don't actually have any rain despite what the forecast says.

 

It is just about to squeak to 10c so I will go get 15 minutes of sun on my face.
