What's your weather Like December 2023

Not much to comment on as it's been a very cloudy day. Just an hour with a little sunshine at time around 1pm.No rain, but the wind sounded strong for a few hours during the afternoon. Temps have been between 10 & 11C all day. Tomorrow they are expected to fall by a few degrees but it will continue cloudy.

Morning all A cloudy cool start to the day here. I did see a star in a gap in the clouds but the day is forecast to be another mostly cloudy day. No rain forecast but there will be little change in temps all day from the 8C now to a max of 10C in the middle of the day.

Hi,

Blowing a gale up the valley and very dark; water dishes full of oak leaves; I don't know what the weather forecast is for today because I'm fed up of looking at the usual joke. I'll take it as it comes and wrap up again like an Eskimo whilst I fight the weather as I carry on restoring the rotavator up the garden after breakfast.

There's a story going around about global warming; will it come to Yorkshire.

Good morning all a high of 12c today windy and a tiny bit of sun breaking through.

 

Hi,

I've just come indoors having been working on the rotavator and I'm frozen; the wind chill really is dropping the temperature; I'm struggling working inside the hut with the door wide open.

It's a beautiful sunny morning though and no rain which is a bonus. After a mug of tea and lump of cake I'll be fully charged again.

UPDATE,

I'm frozen again after another session in the garden hut with the wind rattling the fully open door; I think it must be winter.

The Howard Bulldog petrol rotavator is now restored and running; fine tuning still to do but can wait until I pull it into the garden; the hut was full of exhaust fumes so I didn't want to hang around. A sunny but cold day in the wind; no rain.
