What's your weather Like December 2023

Lovely and sunny with a light breeze, 15c.

 

It's clouded over now but has been sunny and with the breeze things have actually started to dry.

 

Had another trip out to a Garden Centre, this time in Stonehaven, it actually had some gardening stuff on display, didn't buy anything though as I hope I have hoodwinked Santa into thinking I've been good this year and I might get something for Chrimbo....................
still 11 degrees, dry and quite windy.

 

The forecast for the morning was rather out as we had some lengthy sunny gaps in the cloud cover! Now in the afternoon there is no more sun & it's is very cloudy. The SW wind is very strong & cold around here, in fact when I turned a corner of our block of flats this morning I was blown backwards! I hadn't anticipated such a strong wind!

 

The promised high winds that were forecast a few days ago haven't materialised yet although it's been breezy. Cloudy, calm and warm today at 13C/55F. It needs to cool off a bit or the grass will start growing again.

Good morning all We are going to have a showery morning it seems, the Met Office app gives a 60% possibility of rain from 6am but that goes up to 80% from 7am. It's expected to last till around 12.00pm. The other half of the day is going to to be cloudy. Temps at 6am are about 8C but they will reach about 11 or 12C during the afternoon! The week of the shortest day of of the year is turning out to be the warmest of December! These sort of temps are forecast to last all this week and not come down to average temps before next Sunday!

It wasn't very cold walking the boys at 6 am. It's nice this time of year the robins are singing.

I've not looked at the weather forecast but it feels a great deal milder this morning; no rain but still a gusty breeze; it's not yet daylight. I've just returned from shopping being off to an early start again.
