What's your weather Like December 2023

On the grey side but more importantly it's mild and dry....at the moment.

 

Hi,

It's now what passes as daylight and looking out at the weather it's still terrible; strong gusts of wind and rain; not a nice day to be outdoors.

I've just enjoyed a mug of tea and downloaded "The Sound Of Silence" for solo violin it covering both D minor & E minor; a bit of quality time now to follow in the studio as I practice playing.

I can't alter the weather but I can choose what I do indoors.

9 degrees and sunny blue shies and thankfully those 50mph winds we had all night seem to have halved in strength.

 

A dull. dark day with intermittent rain but mild .

Hi,

No problem for us; we don't celebrate Christmas at all. Glad when it's over; sick of hearing about it since August. Next will be Cadbury's Cream Eggs on Boxing Day; then Valentine's Day; then Easter possibly with Father's Day' Mother's Day and all the rest in-between.

Spectacular rainbow clouds as the sun went down, very windy, but due to drop soon, then wet tomorrow, but as we love Christmas and all the seasons we just dress accordingly, still 9 degrees, but it doesn't feel like it.

 

Those kind of clouds were visible a few days ago around here, but I missed them, quite unusual apparently.

 

The gale has continued to blow, along with showers of horizontal rain and sunshine in between, 8C/46F.
I'd rather have snow.

We now expect the rain to arrive about 1pm & then to last most of the pm. The wind seems to have dropped after another windy day yesterday. We did get a couple of very light rain showers but the day was again very mild with 14C our max!
