What's your weather Like December 2023

Ours isn't what I would call heavy ...yet. Warning for heavy rain comes into force at 11am and remains for the day.

 

6c wet and windy, rain not heavy yet, we may be in for flooding again so drain cleaning today

 

Good morning & welcome to a new wet day in December! Currently it's raining here but it's not as cold as yesterday as we have 6C at present. Temps are not expected to rise more than a couple of degrees at most all day. The rain is supposed to last much of the morning before stopping for a few hours. In the middle of the afternoon it is expected to rain again but much heavier than the morning.

 

I see some blue between the white low cloud. It is 10c going to 16/17c and showers forecast for the evening.

 

Damp but not raining 5c.

I've already done the shopping; surprise; surprise it's raining AGAIN. A sweltering 6C forecast for today but look at the weekend forecast; I hope the garden dries enough allowing me to put the remaining 30 or so plants in.



Yesterday it was freezing all day the sheet ice still here at bedtime but the ice is gone this morning. One day the garden is rock hard the next day the garden is a bog; gardening at it's best in Yorkshire.

Morning all 5c and light rain today.

 

Hi,

Sunrise 8:09 this morning; huge joke it's been a black hole all day; the light rain forecast means no rain so far; 6C but feels much colder; I hoped to get into the garden today but I've never liked working the night shift.

We had to nip to the GP's this morning for a 9.30 appointment, the cars automatic headlights were on in both directions, when we got home and walked up the path the pir sensor on our outside light, put the lights on at a time after 10.00 am, it really has been the darkest of days today, constant heavy rain, which is forecast for a couple of days, I hope all are safe and well.

 

Well for some reason I was expecting a milder day today than yesterday, but its been cold and cloudy all day and cold, below 7c.
Its now back to drizzle with a strong breeze.

 

Since 1pm it's been raining and heavy, now it's just stopped at 5.43 pm. A moderate breeze from the south south east temp 7c feels like 3c.
