Whats Your Weather Like December 2024

5c dry but cloudy

 

No showers last evening but it is overcast now and I wouldn't be surprised if we had a shower this morning,6c going to mid teens and sunny.

 

Another frosty/icy, and foggy start here. O'night low was minus 1 [zero just now at approx. 8.10 am] with a predicted high of between zero and 2 degrees. Again, it's meant to clear, but I'm not holding my breath! The temps are to go up overnight though.

Yesterday was cloudy later in the morning and into the afternoon, so the frost thawed and became black ice instead. The high was zero.

It's not been above zero here since Monday afternoon.

 

We have a bit of variety today - drizzle followed by mist.

Christmas day is now on the forecast and it looks good - full sun and 7c. We'll see.

 

Dry, cloudy and around 7c . Gosh dark this morning at 8 and a short day to get tidying our garden. Been away to Tenerife for a week missed the stormy weather just noticed one of the panes of our newish Greenhouse has disappeared another job to sort.

 

It's not light yet, but there is some blue sky and the sun is threatened to peep through, another frost, now sitting at minus 1, not a breath of wind.

Cloudy, calm, dry, 8c. Could be a lot worse!

 

No showers, heavy rain east near the Spanish border and Tavira. All blue sky and sunshine here, calm and 13c.

 

Cornwall.
Dull, dark, damp, grey, cold, mizzling.

 

It is up to 18f -7c and the guessers say that when we spin to the sun, it will reveal lots of clouds and perhaps clearing later. It is expected to warm up to -5. There is snow on the ground. Good for granddaughter's learning to driving.

I was about to moan about the constant drizzle again today, but I wont, just to say its been another diabolically dirty day.
First we get hit with gale force winds and now nothing, just a bit of a breeze might just move the clouds a bit, but nothing is happening.


I assume Budweiser has stopped all production this week then.

 

It is 12c now with this ...



... but no rain here!
