Sunny this morning but the frost isn't thawing and the ground is like rock. A cloudy afternoon that is clearing as I type. 2C/36F

Will be another cloudy day with 6c currently and 6c over the day. Good news is that there is hardly a breeze, which makes it less cold.

Light rain today. Temp steady at around 6-7.

Looking dry for the weekend ahead.

 

It’s dark outside getting acclimatised after two days back from sunnier climates. Warm coat on yesterday felt the crispness in the air it was colder around 7c . Leaving moving our tender plants in pots and there’s quite a few into the greenhouse for a few days as there’s a cake to marzipan/ice first .

 

Early bird @AuntyRach guess it’s a workday . Volunteers at the walled garden have built a Xmas tree in the garden since I’ve been away , yesterday they decked it with lights worth a look . I will see it for real on Tuesday .

Repeat of yesterday, a bit miserable-looking but not too cold. 8c, calm, dry but with possible showers this aft.

 

It’s drizzling which was not on the radar.

 

Sunny but a crisp 5c going toi mid teens with perhaps showers early afternoon.

 

A foggy start again, but the frost has all lifted. O'night low was 1 degree [just getting to 3 degrees now at approx. 8.30 am] with a predicted high of about 5 degrees as it's to be cloudy and damp, with more rain or even sleet later.

Yesterday became dank and cloudy and the temps rose above zero around midday. The high was 2 degrees through the day, but it seems to have got to 3 at some point overnight.

 

Thick cloud and damp. No air movement at all. Max 6c.

Tomorrow is better with sunny intervals.

I bet those wind turbines have nothing to do. Nor solar panels.
