Whats Your Weather Like December 2024

Heavy cloud all day and only 9c.
That was after the early drizzle cleared.

 

After a really cloudy and damp day the winds are just starting to pick up. Expecting 49mph gusts in the early hours, luckily with just some drizzle.

The temperature will rise overnight to 13c, so very mild.

 

All day it's been cloudy with a gentle breeze from the south temp 10c feels like 9c

 

‘orrible driving home tonight. Wind and rain picking up now. I notice high winds forecast for the weekend too.

It says windy outside with 46 mph, but it doesn't sound like it. I haven't been in the garden until now.
13c currently and 13c over the day with a mix of clouds, sunshine eventually and later on rain, heavy rain.

The wind is pretty strong sounding here, and heavy rain due later - so almost certainly the worst day of the week today.

 

Still mild but very windy with heavy rain later on. Managed to get the roof ridge repointed yesterday, hope the mortar was set enough before the rain began last night ....

 

Wet and windy sums it up ATM.

13c very windy, local weather last night said it would be windy no warning ie like yellow/amber/red, well it's even more windy than a few days ago when we were in a RED warning for wind
even the local online mag keep saying about a wall of snow!!!

 

A rough night here, with strong gale force gusts, rain, and an o'night low of 8 degrees, rising to 12 briefly, earlier this morning. It's currently going back down, 9 degrees just now at approx. 8.00am, and is to keep doing that as it all clears, and settles back to more normal wind speeds of 20 to 30mph during the day, with some brightness. The predicted high has happened already [12 degrees] and the day is back to front as it's to just keep going down all day and night.

Yesterday was wet all day, although not always heavy, but with those strong winds, increasing through the afternoon/evening. The high was 10 degrees.

 

Brightly overcast with dust haze again with sun trying to break through, currently 12c going to 20c? Dust showers forecast for tomorrow.

 

It’s been pretty wet and windy through the night just seen my metal whirly ornament going round and up the back and there’s puddles on the front path. It’s around 11c and breezy now .Not as nice as yesterday even the sun came out when weeding the Stumpery on volunteering day, even had fabulous mince-pies homemade with our get together,

If it stops raining I'm going to get out in the back garden to do some weeding, it's sheltered there so the wind shouldn't be too bad.
