Whats Your Weather Like December 2024

I had a walk after work in drizzle and quite cold temperatures. After all the sunshine up to October I still enjoy the grey winter days. But I start counting the days when I can expect sunshine and where I can find it in the garden. Be patient, I say to myself.

 

It's gone from misty to foggy, I drove to a village 6 miles away to get food for Bella in Pets at Home (she likes Chicken Carbonara flavour and I can only get it there !)
and it was foggy, especially on the higher parts, and you had to drive slowly (if you had sense, which many haven't got!)
I was glad to get back home.
And it's cold

 

We got to 17c but on the way down now, 14.7c and sun disappearing quickly. A sunny warm weekend forecast.

 

It's been misty all day and still is with light winds from the south west temp 4c feels like 4c

 

Very foggy again and a bit cold at 4-5 tonight.

 

They say it's misty, but really it's thick fog. Two days of it now and it is bitterly cold even at 5c. I had to wear gloves and have my fur hood up when I walked up the road. It's a wet cold.

Two foxes have been visiting and they looked super furry too.

 

A grey morning and by early afternoon it was shrouded in fog which has partly lifted since dark. 9C/48F

 

Its now forecast to rain tonight and down to 2c, weird mild weather.

4c currently and it says no precipitation, but it's drizzling outside. It's not getting much warmer with 7c.

I'm preparing myself for the cold days coming from Thursday on.

5c same as last night and yesturday daytime and this morning, heavy drizzle very dark

 

Another cloudy, damp start. Fog isn't very common for us as it tends to be low cloud or smirr instead. O'night low of 7 degrees [8 just now at approx. 8.15am] with a predicted high of around 9, so pretty similar to yesterday. Rain coming in again soon, but not heavy. Rinse and repeat just now with the weather here.

Yesterday was damp/smirry all day with a high of 10 briefly, but mainly around 8 or 9 degrees. No wind to speak of, so very, very mild.

 

A lot brighter than yesterday - a good start to the day. Should get to 11c again and stay mainly dry. A small chance of sunny spells later too.

 

Cloudy today. The price for brighter skies next week is a drop in temperature.
