Whats Your Weather Like December 2024

Clear sky and sun out, 8c going to 18c. We are meeting friends at Armacao de Pera for our annual Chinese Christmas lunch.

 

Good morning all ,a cloudy day with a high of 9c but calm ,wind expected tomorrow and Monday.

 

Everything is soaked with perma-drizzle (a new word of mine lately). And it's only 3c. But we can see a bit further into the distance today.

 

Slightly less misty than yesterday still damp and grey.

 

It seems a 'better' day so far than it was yesterday, and I can see hills again, so that's an improvement.
It's still cloudy though, which I wouldn't really mind if it wasn't so cold.

 

It’s supposed to be 7 degrees but it was 3-4 when I nipped out an hour ago. Hands were freezing.

 

9 degrees and overcast, but dry, bit of a breeze from the west.

 

The fog has just about cleared but not a hint of brightness and only just 3c.
They are still saying its mild.

 

We're having a heat wave. It is 3c 38f and cloudy and still. The snow is quickly melting and I don't have to dump the bird water dish and replenish it since it didn't turn into a block of ice overnight

 

I hate to say it folk, but we had a wonderful lunch by the beach. It was quite busy foreigners and locals. Brought four take-aways home to freeze, they are so good. Back here in the orange orchards we are sunny but only 15c feeling cool so we have lit a fire and both furries have come in.

 

Gosh heavy frosty grass on the bank out the back garden this morning. Still the birds out the front had plenty to eat from the feeders but the ground was pretty solid by the looks. Just spotted 3 new daffodils coming up I'd planted in a new place underneath a cotoneaster out the front . Cold tonight.

 

All day it's been misty and light winds and still is with light winds from the west south west temp 4c feels better 2c

 

Oh dear, I know that having a service/MOT in January has always been a challenge, but I had hoped to be ahead of the winter temperatures with the short-term appointment next Friday.
Don't complain about grey skies and smelly foggy air, now comes the turn.
Sunny but cold and frost which means we will spend more time with the car defrosting than actual driving.
