What's your weather like FEBRUARY 2024

Grey with occasional light drizzle, but hopefully that has now moved away but still grey. After yesterday's heavy rain it's very damp out here. 8C.

 

Despite the dire forecast, today was the best day we've had for a fortnight. Gone the thick, clinging fog to reveal a lovely blue sky, sunshine and temps of 18C / 9C. Definitely a feel of spring in the air

It tried to brighten up but it was hard going, it was a dry day, but only reached 8c.

 

Greeted by a light coating of snow this morning. Cold and calm with wall to wall sunshine. 2C/36F

 

The drizzle finally ceased early afternoon but it remained sunless. We have a weather warning starting just after midnight tonight until 6am Friday morning.....I shouldn't think we could get anymore soggy!! A mild 7C.

Yesterday was mostly dull, cloudy with strong east winds most of the day. We didn't have any rain and very little sunshine. We did get some bright spells when the clouds thinned a bit. Temps lower than of late with only about 7C being our max.

Today's weather is forecast to be mainly wet, in fact now, at 6.30am I think I can hear raindrops on the windowsill outside the bedroom. A cold day is in store for today. Mostly around 4-5C during the day but going up towards the end of the day when we expect 8 or 9C!

 

Snap ! Is there anyone who hasn't got rain here in the UK today?
We have our river back and flowing steadily down our lane once more.

Looks like it's going to be for all of the day. I keep trying to think that it could be worse with snow but don't get so wet.

I don't mind the weather so long as I'm wearing the right gear...not happy getting caught out . We're heading off out for the day in an hour...it won't stop us splashing in puddles.

 

Good Morning all frosty night -3c at the moment high of 4c snow forecast for afternoon.

 

Overcast, 11c, going to 18c. All three links I look at say rain today ... and tomorrow ... and ... but when ... it went from five days to now two. It is raining heavily in Central and up North ... but what about us here in the South? I now see the sun coming up!
