It's raining with a moderate breeze from the south south west temp 9c feels like 7c
One of the paths was flooded on our walk and we tried to go back another way but Barely was so used to going that way he wouldn't turn around. So we walked on the edge but we still got our feet wet. We should have gone the other way sooner instead of getting close to it, he would have gone then, they're a creature of habit.

:yay:We had a wonderful much needed 35mm rain yesterday. My garden is thankful but don't know that it had any impact on the dams. Currently the sky is grey and rain is forecast soon and showery through the day.

We daren't venture out anywhere here without being waterproofed!! I have some really comfy wellies shoes ...ok I wouldn't wear them with a skirt but with trousers they are fine.

Oh dear, you're not painting a very good image of your furry friends lately are you! :roflol::doggieshmooze: You said yesterday that if you let them have access to your garden that...well... you wouldn't have a gardan left and now they don't follow your command on walks!! Naughty doggies.:nonofinger: Do they stayed cooped up indoors then all day apart from the toilet walks...even in Spring/ Summer. They can be trained to use a specific area, which is what we did for our dogs with was cleaned up regularly throughout out the day. They always had a 2 hour walk in the morning too.

@Upsydaisy for your information, we always go on the same walks so they've got used to it. They don't go out in the garden because it's only small and got a lot of fruit growing, not everyone has a big garden like you, were in a housing estate. In this weather do you think i would let them in the garden when they would come in all muddy. If they come in the front door the kitchen is there where they can be dried.
They don't just go for toilet breaks they're proper walks lasts about 20mins 4 times a day and 2 just to go out for a wee.No they don't go in the garden when it's hot weather it's best for them to be indoors. With the hot weather we take them out early mornings and evenings when it's not so hot, nobody tells me how to look after my dogs.:)
