It is 16f -8c but the sun is shining brilliantly. The guessers say that later we will get a dump of snow. I wasn't planning on sunbathing anyway so bring it on!

Sun finally broke most of the cloud up, wind dropped a bit, got to 19.8c but now 19,3c.

Rain on and off all day and overcast 12c.
We hit 10hrs of daylight tomorrow, and its changing fast now.
We gain nearly another hour in the next two weeks.

A damp start to the day here with some early showers clearing away quite quickly. Most of the morning it was cloudy with the odd sunny interval but this afternoon not even that. Tomorrow it seems will be a repeat of today but with temps a couple of degrees lower at 13C compared to today's 15C!

A warmish night once again with a min of 12C is forecast. Seems more like April than February!

That is really interesting. We are almost 10 hours 30 minutes right now and will hit the 11 hour mark on the 26th. It's almost like we're slowing the march to spring while you're picking up the pace!

It is now 34f and still absolutely gorgeous with sunshine and only a light breeze. I spent some time outside barbecuing some burgers and things for lunches, etc. :)

Spring has sprung, if only for a couple of days :) 18C / 12C and glorious sunshine. The ground's still absolutely sodden, so no watering worries for at least a couple of months. The sunlounger has been dragged protesting from it's winter lair, cushions dusted off and mice evicted . Of course, the French are still muffled up in thick coats, hats and scarves, muttering about not even thinking about gardening until May. Bof, bof!

Wet again here but very mild. All of a sudden everything seems to be growing.

Yes I think that is how it happens, then we all arrive at roughly the same day length around the Equinox 12hrs, roughly 21st March.
After that our days will be getting slightly longer than yours which kind of makes up for us having shorter days in the winter.

Yes the shorter days we have in summer means its not so hot and some things grow better for my daughters 'up country' , some squash for instance and I have trouble getting some daylilies to flower. However I am not very good in very hot weather - too long living in the mild Southwest!

A frosty start but the sun shone until mid afternoon, looking and sounding very spring like with the birds singing. Cloud and rain followed for the rest of the day. 5C/41F
