Six hours of heavy rain and strong winds, now died down a bit. Max 9c.

 

Cloudy and windy. 7C/45F

 

At 3pm it had stopped raining, now it's dark and partly cloudy with a gentle breeze from the west south west temp 10c feels like 7c

 

We got off to a wet start today, when I looked out at 6.60am it was raining lightly but during the morning it got heavier till it ran out of steam (or should that be "water"? ) around 10am. The rest of the day was then dry with just the wind. Very little in the way of sunshine, mostly just cloud cover. We got up to about 11 or 12C max today. Tomorrow we are once again under a yellow alert warning for rain. It runs from 5am till 5pm. We'll see what transpires!

Funny old day, started wet and windy, but it calmed down and the sun came out later, so nipped to the big Orange diy shed and bought a new hose pipe/reel as the other was over 15 years old and leaking. Now a chilly 4 degrees.

We're had some rain overnight but it's not raining at the moment. We're forecast rain at 7am which is forecast to last practically all day, certainly until well after sunset. We have 9C now but from when the rain begins temps are expected to fall as the day advances to our min of just 3C at 10pm and stay that way until 5am tomorrow. Then it will be a very cold day, at least compared with the last couple of weeks!
