All blue skies and sunshine now.

 

Blue skies and sunny here too, so planning a trip to Royal Deeside 6 degrees just now

 

Its just started raining hard here.
The paths were nearly dry, all wet again now.

 

We had a good shower mid morning but all blue and sunny now with a fresh breeze.

 

In the afternoon it was sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the south west temp 5c feels like 3c
Now it's rain showers.

 

Though at 6am the weather forecast was for a mostly cloudy day it hasn't turned out that way at all - in fact most of the morning, till around 11am we had much more sunshine than clouds.We must have had a very light shower about 7am or so because when I looked out on to the balcony I saw drops of rain that the concrete had absorbed. It was after that that the skies opened out & the clouds disappeared. Later it did cloud over more but there were still sunny intervals right up till nearly 2pm. Then the cloud got thicker & we haven't seen any more sunshine. I noticed on the kitchen window a few splashes of rain about 4.30pm but the ground outside looked dry.

Cold and damp all afternoon after a sunny morning, they forecast 9c but it never got above 7c.

Morning all.

Well, it's a cold start to a cold weekend! We seem to have a light frost this morning! Not talked about frost in quite some time! The skies appear to be clear with the wind very low. We are forecast a dry day with sunshine and clouds. Temps not expected to be higher than 6-8C. Quite a shock to the system after several weeks of higher than average temps!
