What's your weather like FEBRUARY 2024

Still p****** down.

 

It got quite overcast mid morning but now it is sun and cloud, quite breezy and 14c.

My earlier post was totally wrong as it was only 16f -9c! The sun is up now and shining brilliantly however the temperature is just now reaching 20f -6.

The guessers say we'll be going upward for this weekend's temperature roller coaster ride toward spring.

 

Rain all morning and hardly a breeze. 11c.

The rain 'should ' finally stop around 5pm so typically we're in for a lovely dry night

It's returning tomorrow at 4am accompanied this time with a weather warning for...... ..yep..more heavy rain. Also our old pal 'fresh breeze ' is swinging by too......oh what a fun time we'll all have!

 

Partly cloudy and a gentle breeze from the south west temp 6c feels like 3c.

 

Some sunshine this morning but it's been mostly cloudy with showers of rain. The strong wind of the last few days continued until a couple of hours ago, 6C/43F.

Snow is a possibility tonight.

 

Well the forecast was almost right for today - we did have rain most of the day but by 5pm it had stopped. I went out on to the balcony between showers & took a few pics of the few flowers I have in bloom. But almost daily now there are more coming up. while trying to take a close up of the first Daffodils opening on the balcony & trying to avoid getting wet between showers I accidentality knocked one of the pots of Primroses out of its ring. Fortunately it didn't fall on the balcony floor or the pot would have smashed.

On the balcony the temps didn't seem bad & I didn't have to dash inside again! Temps are expected to fall quite a bit overnight tonight before the rain, forecast for 8am, returns. We may have some clear spells in the wee hours of the morning on Friday. The wind has been mostly absent here today & the rain showers were quite slow moving as a consequence. Our min for tonight is 2-3C.
