What's your weather like January 2024

Sun coming up just below zero out there.

 

-3c at 6am but 0c now funny thing is no frost and cloudy

 

Much warmer today 4 degrees......................................

 

Sunny but only 2C ( feels like -2C) ,hung two loads of laundry out to enjoy the fresh air and to freeze.

Looks pretty but my fingers were so painful as they thawed!

 

It is 35f 2c and still overcast. The guessers say that today the clouds will mean business. They're going to drop about 10 or so cm of snow which to me is still not much. And then rain is forecast so that will make a nice slushy mess. With that in mind, I'm going to get out, get my little bit of shopping done and then get back to hunker down before any precip falls.

 

Afternoon all 4c high but feels a lot colder real feel 1c ,walked upto the Drs for blood tests but glad to be back in the warmth.

 

I've just been for a walk, nearly a mile now with no pains so things are getting better.
The wind was cold and made my ears sting
But its nice to see almost unbroken sunshine.

Beautiful wall to wall sunshine since the sun got up! Cold though. Similar day expected tomorrow.

I got a glimpse of the first sliver of the moon - way down near the SE horizon!

We did have a light shower this morning. It is getting brighter and looks like the sun will pop through but we didn't get to the forecast temps, only 13,5c now and I think that will be it.

 

Looks like -2 and -3c nights will be coming for me from sunday onwards for a while. Heater and fleeces ready .....ish.

 

Better watch it about that balaclava - people might think you're protesting more than the weather!

It is dropping freezing rain here which is making a lovely lumpy mess of the bit of snow that fell earlier. It is above freezing for now and I hope a lot of this runs off before it gets colder.
