What's your weather like January 2024

Thank you @Upsydaisy no we don't need anymore black holes and it's great that my hubby is well now. It was me who encouraged him to pay for the last hip so that we could plan to have another puppy.

Patchy cloud and a bit of blue sky, a gentle breeze from the south west temp 6c feels like 3c.

 

We started our Happy New Year with snow. It is only a few degrees below freezing so when the sun that the guessers promise will shine today, does so, it will melt.

 

Just added mine up and I had 127mm more than last year, it was the wettest I've recorded since 2015, mostly due to the very wet autumn.
It's bright here this morning and fairly mild, no wind either.

 

Average for us as we had such a dry spring. December though we had 250mm of rain despite the first week being frosty with almost no rain

We had a lovely morning, beautiful start to the New Year. We've just got home from a 4mile walk.... my aim was to count how many people we exchanged New Year wishes with, but so many people out enjoying the beautiful morning 's weather that we lost count in the end.

Good morning all It's a cloudy start to the day here but not windy - yet though there is a Met Office yellow warning for strong winds & heavy rain beginning mid morning. Temps are expected to reach 12C max in the strong SW winds.
