A rather chilly start to the day here with lots of cloud cover & temps hardly above freezing with only 2C. They are expected to reach about 5C max. No rain forecast for the next few days.

This weekend will see the beginning of a very cold week with winds coming down directly from the North Pole.

Good morning all a nice sunny day at the moment with a high of 7c forecast.

 

5 degrees and cloudy we did see the sun briefly, but it's gorn again

 

It must still be very cloudy as I see no moon or stars. It is 36f 2c and I am glad of that. We had snow last night but the rise in temperature switched it to rain which in turn melted all the snow. And it still being above freezing, all that water is not turning into an ice rink.

The guessers say we shall be descending to the deep freeze tonight and onward with daytime highs between -5c to -8c, that's the teens in fahrenheit.

Would someone please turn on the lights? Even when the sun rises all these clouds are quite heavy on the spirit!

Just seen the forecast, much colder on Monday they reckon and a day time high of only 3c.
I've got news for them, that would be an improvement on the last couple of days.
