It is 14f -9c and just the start of the thermometer tumble. The guessers say we're heading for 6 or 7f -22c. The brisk wind is making it a bit more chilly.

Good morning everyone. Brrr a decidedly cold start to the day here with - 1C at 6am going down to - 2C at 8am! Our max for today is forecast to be around 4C.

The app says we have clear skies at present & they will continue that way all day and night with a min of - 3C. Then it's "rinse and repeat" for tomorrow.

 

A nippy day ahead.

It now looks like the snow we were forecast for Wednesday has shifted down and is now predicted to fall mainly over France.

Hi,

I defrosted the freezer yesterday; this morning I defrosted the car and now back home from shopping I'm defrosting too.

Car displayed -1.5C but it feels a great deal colder; not daylight yet at 8:18 but there's hope. Snow on the way but it was luxury not to receive the usual soaking this morning. May will soon be here then we can return to heavy rain.

It looks like a truly beautiful Winter 's morning wall to wall blue skies and sunshine. I feel the need of a walk coming on. Currently 1C...given up on ' feel like temps' as they 're not very accurate.....depends where you're ' feeling it' . The temps vary considerably from one end of our lane to the other, quite noticeably too.
