What's your weather like January 2024

Minus 1 and clear blue skies, mostly, surrounded by snow, icy roads but none of it here, all the snow gates are closed on the mountain roads, will have a drive up when they get the roads cleared.

 

It is 5f -15c and it must be cloudy because I see no stars.

 

Still overcast with a light breeze, 18c, 99% humidity.

 

25c in the shade,..........in the conservatory with no heating on, its not easy to get motivated to go outside where its 3c, but wall to wall blue sky.
Gonna be a cold one tonight.

A beautiful, if cold day, with wall to wall sunshine unbroken the whole day! The night will continue with the same theme, totally clear skies all night so all the stars will be wonderfully brilliant!

We have only had a max of 2C today and temps are already falling away with 0C at 5pm! Our min is forecast to be - 3C for many hours so I have brought in my Amaryllis bulbs & closed up the mini-greenhouse on the balcony.

The Cyclamen have hardly had time to defrost before they will be frozen again tonight.

Tomorrow will be a repeat of today which, while it's lovely to see unbroken sunshine all day, will see very low temps last the whole day!

 

Minus 5 C forecast for us tonight. Been a beautiful blue sky all day so the house has warmed up nicely.

It's been sunny all day, now it's a clear sky and light winds from the north west temp -1c feels like -4c

 

Hi,

A glorious but very cold day today. I've just been out in the car; strangely the outside of the car was frost/ice free but the insides of the windscreen and front door glass were frozen; it just seemed weird. We keep expecting snow and are sure we won't be disappointed.

It is glorious sunshine for me too and we've gotten up to 19f -7C. And because it is so warm, as you did the other day @Retired, while I defrosted my freezer, I went outside and barbecued some meat , then came back in and needed only a slight defrosting myself! Tonight the guessers say we will only be going down to 14f -10C so much warmer than yesterday

 

Sunshine and snow showers with a couple of inches settled and more expected. -2C/28F was the best temperature today, it's gradually dropped and is currently -5C/23F.

 

Wind here, but it's still warm at 29C/26C. Amazingly, no showers today, despite Meteo France forecasting rain all day
