What's your weather like January 2024

Sun is going down, still some cloud cover, 16,3c which it had been nearly all day, breezy, a half dozen rain drops earlier, still waiting for actual rain which appears to have migrated to Spain.

 

Last night -6c, midday today +5c, mainly sunny and still.

 

Light snow for most of the day. -2C/28F

One of my four neigh-bours braving the weather.

 

We get a few degrees below here and think it's cold. My daughter walking her friend's dog in British Columbia, Canada, in a chill factor of -25C/-13F.

Good morning all. Yesterday it was a rather more cloudy day but we had more sunshine than clouds during the pm. It was also pretty cold again, max 4C, min - 1C.

This morning it's starting off with cloud cover & 0C. Cloud cover is expected to last all day until sunset when it will clear away leaving clear skies overnight when temps will fall away quickly leading to a severe frost, min of minus 4! Then the day is forecast to be very sunny but very cold with temps hardly scraping past 0C all day.

With a yellow weather warning yesterday and for today giving snow; yesterday morning the bit of snow hardly called for a warning; the snow was more like the cloud having a bit of dandruff.

If I made as many mistakes as the met office whilst I was working then I'd surely receive rapid promotion to CEO with £M's bonus payout each year.

It rained last night and I thought it felt a bit warmer this morning until I found the wheelie bin lid welded closed. Water dishes full of oak leaves so it must have also been windy.

Every day without snow is a bonus so I hope the met office keeps forecasting snow.

-2c light frost and cloudy

 

Rain came at 11.30pm yesterday and lightning at Midnight. Had 10mm of rain overnight. It was and still is very gusty/windy. currently overcast, 16c with showers forecast all day.

A few of my wallflowers haven't recovered from yesterday, so hope that it's not going to be the same today.

Since I posted earlier we have had a brief sharp shower, the sky is blue, the sun is out and we have gone down to 15c.
