What's your weather like January 2024

An exceptionally cold start to the day here with totally clear skies and temps well below freezing. According to AccuWeather - 7C but the Met Office says - 4C! Whichever happens to be right it's downright cold! We are not accustomed to such low temps here - like we are not accustomed to 40C!

 

Your temps make ours seem like a heatwave!

 

-6c in the shade, car says -9c in the open air, clear skies and a nice orange glow looking to the East

 

Hi,

Yesterday and Tuesday yellow weather warning for snow; a very light dusting of snow early Tuesday; otherwise just clear and bitterly cold. A mile higher up the valley side had slightly more snow but yellow snow warning; what a joke. They'll keep guessing and at this time of year there will be snow; I don't need weather forecasters to know this it happens every year; it's called nature.

-8c apparently. Want to get my temperature tracker from the greenhouse to see if it was that low there too, but I think that can wait till it warms up a bit

 

Had 10mm rain overnight in 3/4 bursts. Currently lightly overcast with a light breeze and 16c with showers forecast throughout the day/night.

 

Sunny with light winds from the north west temp -4c feels like -8c
I hope that the wallflowers get through it.

 

Good morning all sunny and a scattering of snow -2c ,real feel -7c ,The. betterhalf must think summers on the way as we bought a new patio table chair and set it was on offer 30% off and we both liked it .so what the hec.

Warmed up now after a session in the frozen garden....thought I'd include a ' feel like ' today.

 

It is 17c with a sharp breeze and 99% humidity but no rain yet.

 

Ah ha, the rain has found us! It is relatively heavy and it is gusty. We will have a very wet Boy coming in soon!!!
