8c damp and windy, had lots of rain in the night

 

Had a bit of rain overnight, now light cloud and a moderate breeze from the south west temp 8c feels like 5c
rain showers is expected today.

 

Sun is up,, a nippy 7c going to mid teens.

It's windy and cloudy and damp.

Horizontal rain due to high wind and just a normal miserable day; bit warmer though out of the wind; still it's better than snow.

It is 16f -8.8c and I think it is cloudy. In another hour, I'll know. The guessers had said that we'd get lots of sunshine today, then they changed it to some sunshine, now it is just a chance of sunshine later on. I don't mind the cold but I'm really fed up with the gloom

Same as Portugal up here in North East Scotland 7 degrees..............................

 

The sun rose unobstructed so we have lovely rays. But the temperature dropped! 11f -11c

 

... but we are up to 15,5c now ...

 

High of 10c dull rain and wind.

 

The wind is beginning to get stronger here but the worst is still some hours away. The WSW wind was quite cool this morning & I doubt it will get much warmer either! Apart from a brief shower during the earlier part of the morning it hasn't rained here today. But we are forecast rain later this evening& during the night as Storm Isha makes itself felt.



Our max temp it seems has only reached 12C when we were forecast 14C. This is several degrees above what we would normally have at this time of year. But it seems this warm air is being dragged up from the south-west by the storm. This sort of temperature is forecast to last until the wee small hours of Monday morning before they fall away to a max of 9C Monday afternoon. So these temps are a "one day wonder" & nothing to get excited about!

As Monday dawns the clouds will melt away & we expect a day of almost wall-to-wall sunshine again.
