What's your weather like January 2024

Haven't seen any bees but had a Ladybird on the house wall in the sunshine

 

9 degrees and dry all day, it did get a bit windy, but not too damaging, got my tatties seeds, they are chitting in the conservatory.

 

Got to 20c at 3 0'clock, 17,1c now.

 

It's not been a bad day here today, still rather windy up until the evening but now Storm Jocelyn has followed Storm Isha out into the North Sea! When will the next one arrive??? Not even the Met Office can answer that one! But at least it doesn't seem like we have another one during the coming week.

When I went to pick our granddaughter up from school this afternoon the wind, though it had died down quite a bit compared with when she started at 8.45 this morning, was still blowing quite a bit. She told me how the wind had blown her around on the way to school! :D

We have had no rain today nor is any expected - at least not before 7am tomorrow when light showers are forecast. The sky is fairly clear at present but temps are only half what we had last night! From about 10pm till about 3am we had 13C - in the 3rd week of January! Tomorrow's max is only forecast to be around 12C! The rest of the week the temps will be somewhat lower but no frosts expected. Our min temps for tonight are forecast to be around 4C - what a contrast in night temps!
