What's your weather like January 2024

Not sunny, light breeze 10C

 

Sunny intervals but more cloud than sun. A moderate breeze from the south west temp 8c feels like 5c.

 

This is ridiculous. It is cloudy again and 33f 1c. Other than for one cold week, this month has been weirdly mild with daytime temperatures hovering around the freezing point. Stuff it. I'd rather have deep cold with sunshine!

 

Its pretty much the same here, although mostly gloomy temperatures have been higher than average, they just dont feel like it if its really damp and cloudy.

I saw a forecast saying the easterlies are likely to come some time in February, which would be in keeping with what is normal these days, we seem to have summer hanging on longer but often winter does as well, for us anyway.

 

We have rain ..not sure where that blew in from as we were only suppose to get some fine drizzle about 11pm tonight.

Yesterday's 25c warmth and sun seems like a distant memory already!!!

 

I feel your chill, Strongy It's not too bad here at 16C when the sun finally breaks through the morning mist, but another 10 degrees wouldn't go amiss.

 

It's been rather a drab day here as well with the cloud cover. We did however get a little sunshine around 1pm but it was short lived. The clouds came back & have lasted all the rest of the day. They are expected to last all night as well - as well as the rest of the week, including the weekend.

I see on the M.O app that we may have a few hours of clear skies from 2am to 5am. Anybody fancy doing a bit of stargazing tonight???

It was a bit windy around 3pm when I went to pick up our granddaughter from school & it was rather fresh as well!Temps got as high as 10-12C max today but will fall over night to only 3C at 3am. So if you're going stargazing wrap up warm!
