Morning all . We had a couple of showers yesterday but only 1 was heavy but didn't last more than a few minutes. The 2nd was much lighter and a couple of minutes long.
It appears we can expect some more showers during the day today.

Temps are forecast to barely cross into the mid-teens today! At this rate we'll be getting out the winter clothing again!

 

Autumn seems to have arrived early, it's cold and damp and dreary

 

It was windy/gusty all night, currently 20c with a light breeze heading for mid 30s.

 

All changed in half an hour...sun went and grey clouds full of rain arrived!!

And I have pics!!

Lovely rain filling the gutters that will then fill the....water butts!!

 

Oh well it's finished now and brightening up. Not sure how much good it did but the gesture was much appreciated.

Just passed the 28c mark.

 

We keep getting light showers and it's overcast, but the wind has dropped thankfully, it was bashing the Roses and the Broad Beans about, only 12 degrees though

 

34c with a light hot breeze.

 

19c, a few spots of rain in the gusty wind and looking grim.
Most of the rain appears to be to the west and north of here, but it will sweep through later and overnight.
Depressing for July.

We've had rain today, 20 mm so far, maybe more tomorrow.

 

Went out this afternoon. ....walking there and back. Inbetween both journeys we had a very heavy downpour , initially it even caused some local flooding!! Our garden was singing with joy on our return.

It has stopped now but the skies are darkening up again.......
