Overcast and breezy, 18c going to high 20s (I hope that is true) with a sunny, fresh afternoon. I am still dreaming of rain but don't think we'll see any for months yet!

It rained all day yesterday in varying degrees from mizzle to torrential downpours.
Today is bright and very breezy with sunny intervals. Plenty f clouds bombing across the sky. Cold.

It's going to be just 11c this morning. We've had a fair bit of rain overnight so at last the lawns are watered. Still dismal and wet now.

Looking forward, Tuesday looks really wet. At least this will keep the water rates bill down.

Have had plenty of much-needed rain and some rather less-needed high winds. Several plants flattened. Cold enough that I've got a micro-fleece on.

I have been out putting better stakes on the Ammi Majus this morning. Everything looking nice and lush though and it's washed away a lot of the bird poo (bleeding magpies, seven on my back lawn at the moment).

My little pond was only half full when I looked on Thursday but today it is within an inch of the top.
I've got back trouble at the moment so happy not to have to worry about watering for a while.

We just recently had very heavy rain. Nothing tends to be 'normal' here in Shineyland. The rain in the front garden was coming down at a 45 degree angle and in the back garden it was coming straight down.

It is 24,5c and lightly breezy. Yesterday at this time we were already 30c for half an hour so a more pleasant day to look forward to today.

10mm rain yesterday and another 10mm overnight. It's a mixed day so far, sun and showers, temperature around 14c and a gentle breeze.

Thunder woke me about 01:30 - it was a strange grumbling rumble, one big crack then heavy rain. Had to put a podcast on to get back to sleep (Idaho Murders - really good, although probably not a bed time story).

It’s mixed weather today but some peeps of sun. I won’t risk washing though.

Sounds like you are describing my garden. I had to stake my Ammi Majus yesterday when I came back from Oxford.

Just checked the water buts, wow from empty to 50 l on either side = 100l with a 3 sqm roof :)

After a day of on and off showers we are now getting some decent sunshine, but the wind is a problem, very gusty.
Hardly warm at around 18c, pretty poor really.

Roll on winter, at least we expect to get dumped on then.
