What's Your Weather Like July 2024

Cloudy but mild. Ok for doing outside jobs but not for sitting about. Water butts and ponds are full after the rain at start of the week.

 

Still breezy and 33.3c with 58% humidity.

 

Just back from Aberdeenshire where the forecast stormy rain didn't really happen, 15 degrees quite breezy and cloudy, the grass will be waist high if it doesn't dry up soon.

 

Its been brightening up then going dull all day, not as sunny as forecast.
Big old clouds going across the sky in a gusty horrible wind.
Thermometer says 22c but hardly feels like it.

 

We got to 34.2c at 5pm, now 32,9c so gratefully on the way down, still breezy and 54% humidity. Normally we sit out from 5.30pn for two or three hours ... but not tonight ... we are having drinks inside in the a/c watching Flashpoint before a Ploughman's dinner.

 

Grey grey grey.

Mizzle, smirr, call it what you will, it’s deeply depressing.

Still not one single runner bean has set this year.

 

We are down to 28.2c now with still a breeze so almost back to normal ... but there's sill tomorrow ...

 

Rain until early evening. The sun appeared for a while but it started raining again. Now drying up with hopefully a better day tomorrow. Just 10C/50F.

10c now and sunny! Chance of a shower maybe later but definately a ‘Gardening Day ‘.

 

The sun is up to greet me this morning. Probably the best weather day of the week so I hope I’ll be home on time so I can have an hour pottering in garden later.
