What's Your Weather Like July 2024

It has been fairly warm here this week. We seem to be sitting in the high 80'sF during the day and it only cools down to around 70F at night. With a bonus of added humidity. Right now it is 29C and clouds are rolling in. The guessers are telling us we'll have yet another thunderstorm today. I like those

 

It doesn’t look that bad for your regon. Enjoy the rain, it’s the last bigger amount. I wish we would get your rain.

 

High here was 30.6c, now 29.4c with a nice breeze so pleasant. It is forecast to go to 40+ the end of next week ...

Heavy rain due this afternoon so I must remember my coat for ‘Hometime’.

The Farming Weather forecast (CountryFile) showed a mixed week ahead with Wednesday and Friday being the ‘best’ days here.

 

Blue tits are on the feeder they had better get a move on rain could be coming in later . Fluffy grey clouds look ominous aswell , everyone have a good day in or out (some working I guess) .

@Victoria, I have those temperatures last eight day, and it will last till Sunday. Two days ago it was 30C at 2am. Unbearable to sleep.

 

Dry bright start here, with some light cloud. O'night low was 12 degrees [ 14 just now at approx. 7.40 am] with a predicted high of around 19 or so. It's to be mainly dry and some sun, so it should easily reach that, and it's calm again.

Yesterday turned out very warm, with a mix of cloud and sun through the day, but no wind, which is quite unusual - had that for a few days now. The high was 22 degrees so I had to stay in the shade doing my outside work. Some light rain at night.

I hope it improves for you. At least we are cooler at night.

Currently it is 20c with hazy sun going to the high 20s with hopefully a breeze.

Our temps are looking to go up in the day ... with cooler nights.

Lovely start. Can't believe it will go downhill to heavy rain, easterly winds and just 16c by tea time. But all gardening was done yesterday so the garden can have a good watering, free of charge.

Grey, overcast, dark and it is chucking it down. Was that summer, come and gone?

 

The sun's out here, and so is the washing! I did get about 3 hours' gardening done yesterday but it was mizzly drizzly damp in the air all day, then light rain in the evening. The forecast is for more rain this evening, overnight and into tomorrow so that should keep the soil moisture topped up nicely.
