What's Your Weather Like July 2024

Cloudy, dry start here. O'night low was 10 degrees [15 just now at approx. 8.25 am] and a predicted high of about 19 degrees. It's to be sunnier later on, with a good breeze.

Yesterday was wet through the morning, mainly light, apart from when I was out my walk, so the trousers got a good wash. Should have stuck the waterproof ones on! Dried up by mid day, and there was even some sun, which helped the temps reach 21. Fortunately, there was a decent breeze, and I was working in the shade, so that all helped me stay cooler.

 

Looks like Summer is arriving in the UK at long last.

Down here we go under an extreme high temperature warning tomorrow at 10am till 7pm on Friday with temps to reach 40c in some areas.

Currently it is 18c here with a hint of a breeze going to mid/high 30s ... but this is not in the warning range . I am in Silves County which goes from the mountains to the sea but we are nearer the mountains so temps can can vary greatly. All of Algarve has been put under the warning.

 

Currently dry, mild and sunny; only cloud on the horizon is the dentists just after lunch.

Stand by, a mini heat wave is forecast for the next few days. The sun is shining already, high cloud with lots of blue sky. Oh bliss! No wind. Eiry.

 

We did get another 4mm of rain yesterday afternoon/early evening, and now it's a pleasant 19C and sunny with fluffy white clouds. Bracing ourselves for a couple of unpleasantly hot days from tomorrow afternoon though - some forecasts have it getting to 29C on Friday so it looks like there are going to be a couple of sticky hot nights . At least the garden is going into it reasonably well-hydrated, and apparently normal service will be resumed on Sunday .

 

Crikey, I don't envy you those kinds of temperatures. Mid-20s is getting too hot for me!

 

I would be happy if that is what we had.

 

Bright and breezy 18 degrees, forecast is for a dry day.

 

Today at 11am we are 24,5c.

 

A high of 23C forecast, but overcast.

 

Better today. Still a few clouds and a bit of a breeze but the sun is hot which should lift the temperatures.

Enjoyed Dara O’Briain’s programme about the Sun (Ch5) yesterday. He did a Moon one previously.

 

Sunny intervals and light winds from the south west temp 20c feels like 22c

 

Started off very cool and very misty this morning, thick enough to wet my cat's coat when he came in at 4:30am wanting mummy cuddles. Sun broke thru later on tho and now we have sunshine, a few bits of cloud and 25C expected. Suits me but will be hotter tomorrow at about 30C.

 

22c currently, blue sky and really nice.
Thursday 25c, Friday 27c and eventually Saturday too.
I can already hear OH complaining that it’s too hot.
I’m already 2 ice cream down. I hope what I have bought will last until Friday
