What's Your Weather Like July 2024

Watching the sun come up over the mountain , a lovely sight . Time spent in the garden till rather late last night got loads done and had a T shirt on ! . Enjoy the day.

An overcast start, with a mix of heavy dark clouds, some lighter ones, and little breaks of sun. O'night low was 15 degrees [18 just now at approx. 7.10 am ] and a predicted high of about 19 as it's to brighten up later and be mainly quite sunny in the aftn. and evening. Nice breeze, so that'll stop me getting too hot.

Yesterday was fairly dry through the morning with just some shorter spells of light rain, and then more persistent stuff in the afternoon, but mostly light or smirry, and nothing heavy enough to stop you being outdoors if needed. The high was 19 degrees, and it was breezy. I got on with the indoor painting though, and meeting daughter.

It’s a clear and calm morning and it should be sunny and warm all day. The moon was bright and golden last night - nearly a full moon (21st).

 

Dust hazy sun, quite still, 24c going to mid/high 30s again. Forecast is to get a little cooler this weekend.

 

Full sun and 27c today.

I will finish my painting this morning and mow the lawn before it gets too hot.

I went into the GH to find two of my cactus flowers had opened overnight and they filled the GH with perfume.

Another hot day to come.

 

Phew, it's hot already ! Overnight wasn't as bad as I feared, but the forecasters say we're in for 30C today so I'll be mostly indoors out of the sun, except for a bit of watering and hanging out and fetching in washing. At least this heat's good for something, it should dry quickly.

 

It is 20c already any 10.30am so any necessary watering has been done and that's me in till this evening.

 

21c blue sky getting warm.

 

11.30 just reached 29c.
