Windy and mostly overcast. The temperature reached 21C/70F but felt warmer due to high humidity.

Back in the 1990's we went to Turkey for two weeks it hit 50 c for about three days, you could actually feel your skin cooking if you tried to sit out in it, I stood in the pool up to my neck with a hat on and a pint of something cold in my hand only going out in the evening when the sun went down, we were told it never dropped below a 100f for the whole holiday, even in the middle of the night, never again.

It was THE most perfect day this year.

All day was in the 70's F and a lovely light breeze was a bonus.

I had to wear sneakers when I went out on the roof to install a new Cctv camera because the glorious sunshine did heat up the shingles a fair bit.

The plants must have been enjoying a well deserved session of sun bathing after the gloomy rainy days we had lately.

A perfect day. And it's going to be cool for sleeping tonight.

It doesn't get better than that :)

Very hot, 33in the garden. Thank goodness I discovered the neck fan in time for this mini heatwave. It’s a godsend.

It's 24c in the GH with the door open and 27c in the bedroom. Should have camped out in the GH.

We had inside and outside 26c yesterday evening, ways too warm for a comfortable sleep.
I have thought several times about sleeping in the greenhouse for a night just to see what happens in the garden, @cactus_girl but I admit, I prefer my bed rather then camping. I wouldn't sleep for a minute.
Currently 16c outside, 24.4c inside and no wind at all that could cool down. I woke up sweating at quarter past 2, but will go back to bed at 5.
We will have around 20c over the day with clouds, sunshine, thunder and eventually rain.

Overcast, but dry start this morning, and calm. O'night low of 15 degrees [16 just now at approx. 7.40 am] with a predicted high of about 17 or 18. Rain to come in later.

Yesterday was a mix of smirr/lt, rain, some sunnier spells, and a good breeze later on. Washing dried well, because the stronger gusts cancelled out the smirr! Stopped it being too warm as well, as the high was 21. Sunniest in late aftn. and early evening.

Overcast and 17 degrees, a bit warm for grass cutting but with rain forecast it has to be done today.

Yesterday was very humid and warm.

                              Today is horrible!
Low mist so dull grey and dark but humid. It is pouring with rain.

@simone_in_wiltshire with the GH door shut I would expect to have woodmice and chunky spiders with me. With it open cats, foxes and rats. Would not sleep at all.

20c outside and 26c upstairs. Got about 3 hours sleep.

Lightning expected today the last time I checked.
