What's Your Weather Like July 2024

Bright start, no wind.

Cloudy, but bright, start again here. I don't think I did yesterday's weather - mainly because I went for my walk earlier to avoid getting too hot, and I also had to go out by half nine for something else.
It's to be cloudy/bright, pretty much all day, with rain later on. O'night low was 11 degrees [14 just now at approx. 7.35 am] and the predicted high is still to be about 20 or so, but at least it won't be full on sun, like yesterday, where it reached 22, and that's not in the full sun of course.
Far too hot for me, and I struggled to get enough spots in the shade that were big enough for what I was doing. Today will be easier.

 

Is it going to be around 17c/18c for the rest of the day ? No excuse cuppa tea, breakfast listen to Ken ( did get 21 last week between the two of us ) then a few hours outside . Have a good day.

 

Hazy sun, currently 25c going to high 30s. We are now on Orange warning through tomorrow (Thursday) 7pm then Yellow through Friday 7pm. Three people on the Portuguese Exotic forum I visit were at 40c yesterday late afternoon in Central Portugal.

 

Good morning all,sun and cloud with a high of 21c ,we are driving down to Yorkshire today to see my mum.

 

The bright start didn't last.

It’s just ‘spitting’ here, but no rain was forecast until later today so that’s a bit disappointing.

We are 30,2c now, We got what needed to be watered before 10am.

 

We have fluffy white clouds but no rain, and no real prospect of anything much in the next two weeks . Envious of those who've got some! Going to have to start syphoning the bathwater onto the garden if it goes on like this.

 

23C and overcast; no breeze. More or less the same as the previous few days which is odd, considering the jet stream is smack over southern England (and northern Europe - we can't have all the fun.)

 

24c, very hot but with a nice breeze @ 2.30pm
