Been a cloudy dull sort of day with a high of 20, which ok, but a bit warm for painting the front gate and garden fence with creocote, at least that's another job out of the way.

It's been gloomy with cloud and a bit of a wind. OK for drying washing and the runners are doing better now. Getting depressed because of the lack of sun. I had to put the light on at 5pm to do some sewing. And some slugs ate the flowers on my spider lilies.

            Good morning.
Seems to be cloudy but also blue sky, can't tell exactly because it's twilight currently.
It feels damp outside, 13c currently, and up to 21c later on.

Look at the forecast for next week, up to 27c on Tuesday.

Yesterday turned out OK with good gardening weather. Warm sunshine but not hot. At the end of the garden the wind was very strong coming off the fields and I needed my gardening coat whilst harvesting fruit.

The rest of the garden was short sleeve weather as the wind was stopped by intervening trees.

The smirr visited us about 9 p.m. for an hour but not enough to make any noticeable difference for our thirsty plants. It is very sunny and breezy this morning with no rain forecast for the next seven days. So I now have the sprinkler on the veggies. There is still a fair breeze at the bottom of the garden but it isn't getting past the trees except when there is a sudden gust from the west.

I feel for you as I also don't like the heat that you now get. :grphg: We made the decision a few years back not to visit mainland Europe during the summer whereas we quite often did in the past.

Hazy sun with a light breeze, 20c going to low 30s. Looks like we may drop a few more degrees and go to normal this weekend. I do hope so. I find it draining as does our 15 year old female cat.

Damp start here. O'night low was 11 degrees [13 just now at approx. 8.40 am] with a predicted high of around 17. It's to be showery and quite breezy this morning, and clearing up in the afternoon. There was some overnight rain. [8mm]

Yesterday stayed dry apart from some morning smirr, and there was some sun later in the day, until 7 pm when the rain came on quite heavily for an hour or so. It was quite humid and thundery, but we didn't get any thunder/lightning unfortunately. The high was 20 and there was a nice breeze. Ideal for outdoor jobs, but I'm glad I covered up my concrete when I did!

15 degrees already and sunny with a slight chance of a shower later, could be a warm one.

It’s clear and sunny with a slight breeze so the line will be on duty today!

Lovely to see and hear the bees enjoying the sun on my Lavenders.

It looks like being a nice day today - max 21C, mix of clouds and sunshine, hardly any wind - then a possibility of a bit of rain tomorrow afternoon, then turning uncomfortably warm again and no more rain until Wednesday (maybe, if we're lucky - garden needs it).
