What's Your Weather Like July 2024

That is because they are all coming here.

Currently overcast with the dusty sun breaking through, very breezy/gusty, 28c and horribly humid but very thankful for the miniscule amount of rain we got.

 

Yes I thought that! I could give you advance warning. And likewise you can alert me when they're heading back in two weeks time!

Interesting article, but does it not mean that the tectonic plates were in a different place 90 million years ago? Plants would not survive in darkness for up to 6 months of the year.

 

just got to 25c, inside now, blinds all turned for darkness and 5 foot ceiling fan turning

 

Set to get to 35C this pm but no breeze so it will feel a lot hotter than yesterday's 34C. Hotter again tomorrow.

That's us inside for the next few hours with the windows closed and shutters down to stay cool.

 

Still mostly hazy overcastness with weak sun trying to break through, 30c and still windy/gusty and 71% humidity. Not very pleasant.

 

27c currently but doesn’t feel too hot. No ice cream this time, but water melon.

 

Too hot for me here. My outside temperature sensor is reading 29.5C. So far I've only braved the outdoors to hang out and fetch in washing. Trying to decide whether to go out and give the grass a wee cut before my working week starts properly. If I don't it'll probably be left until Friday. Mind you in this heat it's not going to grow a lot.

 

Car thermometer was reading 29 outside and 40 inside just now. The air con cooled the inside and was bliss.

 

Its been this kind of day, 29c.

 

29C still. Silly hot, if you're a plant pot in full sun. Unless of course, the 'gardener' is watering you daily. Hey ho - most of the year, it's the opposite.

 

Been sitting out for over two hours, 28.5c now with a breeze and dust haze moved on. Everything looks fresh with the rare rain for July.
