What's Your Weather Like July 2024

Sunny with a light breeze, 24c going to mid 30s ... and I have to go out in it for a 5 o'clock medical appointment ...

A cold strong wind. Sunny intervals. Lots of large black bottomed clouds barrelling around.
Someone somewhere is having some heavy rain.

 

Good morning all ,sun and cloud with a strong cold wind ,high of 16c.

 

A very pleasant sunny day and quite breezy. Just right for a stroll up the road to vote, then the local shops where there is a mini GC.

As it was miserable yesterday we did some heavy shrub removal, so today we have to recover - it's an age thing.

 

It's sunny with a few fast moving clouds around, feels cold again in the wind.
Started out at 12c.

 

Cold. 11°C. And Hurricane Beryl’s little sister has come to see us, I think. Gale force winds knocked over 5 of my 6 broad bean plants round about dawn. I swear I heard the canes snap. They were in their prime with small pods just forming beans. Now they are ready for the compost heap. Why do we bother?

 

A mixture of clouds here - some fluffy and some quite dark, with bits of blue between and to the south.
The 14 day forecast has deteriorated a bit with more rain in it than previously suggested and no temps above 20.

We are 35c already with a light hot breeze.

 

Think I’ll have to send my bottles of Suncream over to you Victoria ! Still waiting here for a bit of a heat-wave , a mini heatwave would be a start !. Breezy and around 15c think our pots of Lilies might burst open in a day or too.

 

Thank you ... but although I go outside for several hours a day, I never sit in direct sun as being fair skinned I would fry. I'll try to bow some heat you way. We are 36c now still with a breeze.

 

It says 16c, cloudy and sunny at the same time, and very windy. I took some pictures of the plants before the wind knocks them down.

 

Its turned out half decent, 22c now and although a bit blustery, not too bad.
Good sunny periods.
Tomorrow doesn't look great.

 

It’s like April here. Cold, gale force wind, bright sunshine and splattery showers. 4.30 pm and I’m sheltering in the house from the horridness of it.

What I and my childhood friends used to call “A monkey’s wedding” of a day. Which made me look up the origin of that expression. Which is interesting but mysterious.

All day it's been sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the west temp 17c feels like 16c but very warm when the sun comes out.
