Good persistent rain which is really needed here. Only 16c to 19 later. These temperatures and rain are forecast for the next 10 days.

We had rain overnight but water butt still not full so I will allow more rain tonight. It’s quite warm though, which I wasn’t expecting - probably because the wind has dropped.

My 14 day forecast has changed again! No heatwave or anything but less rain for the second week than when I looked yesterday. I only look out of interest.

Quite a lot of rain this morning but it stopped about lunchtime and I've mowed the front lawns. The thermometer said it is 23C but feels warmer because of the humidity and no wind. Just started raining again.

There was drizzle this morning and drizzle in Oxford. On the way home drizzle started again and it’s now cold, windy and wet. I will need a hot-water bottle tonight. BBC says 16c, feels like 13c.
