This last week or so has been feeling and looking very autumnal, not good for late June early July. Fingers crossed :fingers crossed: for an Indian summer.

Dry and the wind has dropped to a breeze at last but still the lack of sunshine, apart from the occasional glimpse. Temperature up a little at 15C/59F.

The rain stopped here at 4:30. The water buts collected around 40l of rain from the 3 sqm greenhouse roof.
10c at the moment, and it will go up to comfy 15c over the day.
@pete, one wonders why people invest so heavily into BBQ areas in garden makeovers to socialise. I have had hardly a summer where it was cosy warm in the evening on more than 2 days. Normally, it's that 1 day a year and I can hear neighbours cleaning their BBQs in the afternoon for that special night.

It's a bit nippy out there this morning.

We have an outside eating area and use it a lot but we don't have a BBQ. I cook everything indoors and take it out. If it warms up by lunchtime there will be thirteen of us eating out there as it is a covered area so rain doesn't bother us. We've used it seven times in the last month. :blue thumb: If it's not raining the cat from next door will usually come and join us. :heehee:

Sun is out but its pretty wet outside.
                        15c.
I've never been a barbecue type person to be done properly you need more than a grill and 10 sausages, which is what most appear to have around here

Normal summers I often have a wander around the garden at dusk, on those warm evenings after a hot day, but it's just not happening this year.
                        Even the insects are hibernating.

I've had a quite a few wasps, but not too many yet - we usually get most of them later in the month and htrough August.

Dry, sunny start here, but it's to be a mix again, although the forecasts are divided on whether there's to be sun or mainly cloud. O'night low was 6 degrees [11 just now at approx. 8.15 am] and the predicted high is mid teens again. Light breeze only, so it feels very calm out there.

Yesterday became dry in the afternoon after a smirry, damp morning. It was even quite sunny, with a good breeze. The high was 15, so it was great for my concreting at the side of the shed.

The nesting bees [under the corner] were getting really hacked off with me though! I'm hoping to work round them with the new cladding, and go back to it once they've all moved on. Kept apologising to them...:heehee:
