We had a drive over the hills to Aboyne in deepest, darkest Aberdeenshire(it's not far from Royal neighbours at Balmoral) it was 23 degrees quite windy and hot, we are not used to these temps after living up here for nearly 20 years, a muck more pleasant 15 degrees when we got home, just picked more Strawberries.

Now 31C but as the sun starts to sink slowly in the West and the breeze gets stronger it should be a pleasant evening. :fingers crossed:

          "Yellow warning of thunderstorms
Starts: 12:00 BST on Sun 11 June

Ends: 21:00 BST on Sun 11 June

While some places will be largely dry, thunderstorms with heavy rain and hail are likely to develop in places on Sunday afternoon. - There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds - Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services - Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures - There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost"

We had an Amber Alert for the heat yesterday, they will have to invent a few more colours when global warming really does arrive.

It's very pleasant sitting on the patio, 26c and a very slight breeze.

Its the first time this year I can leave all windows and doors open and wander in and out without feeling cold.
Long may it continue, if its considered humid, I like it, I just call it warm.

Sunny, breezy and too hot, 28C/82F. I could do with 10 degrees less.

A second wildfire has started 8 miles south of Inverness and Loch Ness is at it's lowest in 32 years.

Very calm out there with little white fluffy things floating stationary in the blue sky. All the watering done before the greenhouse and patio area get too hot to expose my delicate skin to the elements. :heehee:
