Reached just short of 33c yesterday but the night was tolerable. Starting off with 24c going to the low/mid 30s, with some parts of the county reaching 37c but I think we will be slightly less.

Sunny dead calm, 23c heading to 28.

SE Water are having a hosepipe ban from 26th June, areas affected Kent and Sussex.

            26c in the shade.
Southern Water are objecting to the hundreds of houses in the planning stage in my area as they can't cope as the situation is now.
These "Affordable" houses are not affordable for local people.

We have reached 30c before noon! I've done what I needed to outdoors.

Another totally cloudless day with only a very light breeze, I got 30c for a while but mostly 28 or 29c.
                    Very pleasant.

Very similar here too Pete, in fact it felt more oppressive this morning I thought ..but then I was out and about and doing more than I am now just lazing and chilling this afternoon.
I've decided I now don't wish to live in a hot country anymore......warm ish in winter maybe ...but back home here for the rest of the year..most definitely.
                      28C here now.

Currently as it stands at the moment this is tomorrow morning...will we or won't we that is the big question.

We went out at 6 to sit for a while ... but are back in because it is 34c out there and the breeze is at the top of the trees. I think we are going to have a repeat tomorrow ...:phew:

That's what is ' strange' ( for want of a better word ) to me Vicky....live in warmer climes and then you have to stay indoors most of the day because it's too hot to do anything.
That's why for me a Winter bolt hole would be ideal ..enjoy a milder Winter...then back home again ! :dbgrtmb:

Currently 28C out here according to our thermometer.

Had a whopper of a rainstorm with thunder and lightning, must have lasted close to 40 minutes, first proper rain in ages. Caused a bit of flooding on the road back from the allotment. Still a bit too humid for my liking though

It is rare Upsy as this is not normal temps for us. Most folk do not spend outdoors as many hours as you do. J spends more time than me because of my medical issues ... at the moment I only spend about three hours out ... but I have nothing to do in my garden being evergreen and drought resistant. And we can keep our doors and windows wide open most of the year. Also, it was 22 years ago when I moved here permanently so I was a youngster! ;)
