Whats Your Weather Like June 2023

Agree Vicky, it's nice for a while but then the novelty wears off!

Even the Ants were biting well in search of liquid refreshments !!!

 

Typical glasgow summer weather, been like this for a week now. The number of slugs has exploded unfortunately for all my lettuce.

 

Cloudy until mid afternoon and sunshine to finish the day. A little warmer than yesterday, 16C/61F.

Still no rain here but at some point in the morning we did have some drizzle, I didn't see it but I saw there was some dampness on the balcony.

We had an overcast day that felt warm and very muggy! Only the very occasional bright period. But we did hear some far off thunder but it didn't come any where near us.

We are forecast several hours of rain this morning, we'll see it turns up!

 

Update :I've just looked out the bedroom window and I see it has rained - a little!

 

We have had rain !! I will have to check the water butts to see if it was a significant amount.
The sun is breaking through now.

Some very light rain around, just about dampening the ground 18c.

 

It was very gusty/windy all night and still is. Currently sunny, 21c going to hot with a wind and high heat warning through Saturday!

 

Morning, we have a gentle breeze and sunshine, 9 degrees in the greenhouse over night.

 

Oh.Heaven.
First rain for six weeks ,so much needed.
It’s not enough but any to come glad of it.

 

Over night we had some rain, but now it's sunny with a bit of cloud and a gentle breeze from the north north west temp 16c feels like 16c.
