Whats Your Weather Like June 2023

Still fires out West and the smoke is drifting all that way, incredible.
Do they think there is any chance of putting them out anytime this summer.

 

Still cloudy with a gentle breeze from the east north east temp 15c feels like 15c

 

It is total silliness to me. Around my area, they do controlled burns and they could do the same out there except on a larger scale. Corridors of nothing left to burn would stop the fires or at least help contain them. And they get these fires every year. The climate change theory cheerleaders are trying to attribute this "new" phenomenon to our own small pollution footprint but I think we all know that with so many trees per person plus all of the other vegetation about, we sure don't get anywhere near the contribution to the smog as China, India, Japan etc.

It is now actually hazy at ground level. And still smells like a campfire. I just came back from the grocery store and did manage to stifle the urge to buy marshmallows or s'more makings..

 

A very cloudy & cool day with no sunshine not even any brightness like yesterday. Our max was only about 14C! No improvement tomorrow either but - hold on to your (sun)hats we are forecast a scorching weekend! Temps here could get up into the high 20sC!!!

Hello & good morning everyone Once again the blanket of cloud has sealed off the sun, at least for this morning as from midday we are forecast sunshine at last that will last to the end of the day! Temps expected to reach 18-19C max.

 

Cloudy, windy 12c.

We had showers around 9pm last night ... all 1mm worth but better than nothing. Currently overcast with the sun trying to break through. It is 21c with a light breeze going to 25/26c and perhaps a shower later.

Sitting out on the patio our thermometer ( hanging on the shaded wall) reads 24C.

 

Sky cleared around 1pm and we nearly reached 20c

I hear there is an extreme heat warning for the weekend, oh come on, I know its been rubbish around here for the last 3 weeks but are they really serious.

 

Got to 26c, currently 26, breezy and overcast with breaks in the cloud. Been breezy all day and had a light shower.
