Whats your weather like June 2024

Had been raining, so put washing in the dryer and immediately rain stopped and it's brilliant sunshine! Typical! Well it can stay there because I'm not getting up again.
It is warmer though, about 15c.

 

It comes to something when we are happy with 12c overnight ...

 

Heavy rain showers and a moderate breeze from the south west temp 15c feels like 15c. forecast some thunderstorms.

 

Up here in Polar Bear land, we sometimes don't get 12 degrees in the daytime in August if the Harr rolls in off the sea.............................

 

There was a heavy shower while I was down at the shops this morning but when I got home, nothing! The forecast for this afternoon is a bit uncertain - Met Office says 40% chance of showers mid-afternoon, BBC says showers all afternoon with thunderstorms, Netweather somewhere in between, Accuweather Nowcast says rain starting in 93 minutes (one of these days I'll time it!). Better fetch the towels in off the line before I head off to my parents' place to deliver the shopping.

 

Drizzle, mizzle, rain all day. And just now a big crack of thunder just to add to the air of midsummer madness.

We are at 30c already ... what will we go to.

 

No rain yet today but the lightning icon remains for about 6pm on app.

Having an hour outside whilst it’s dry.

Must have been heavy rain and wind yesterday as a few plants have flopped or fallen.

 

If we didn't have a gusty wind it would be half decent, sat out for a while but its ruined by the wind.

Got to 32c but fortunately the breeze kept up but still had the a/c on for a couple of hours earlier. Now windows wide open again, breezy and 25,3c.

 

A cloudy but bright morning. Noon brought rain for the rest of the afternoon and early evening with a few claps of thunder in the distance. 15C/59F
