Sunny until mid afternoon with cloud cover since. The wind that has nagged all day is now starting to drop. 18C/64F

It is quite hot with 34c in Ottawa, colleagues told yesterday. But not as hot as India. A colleague said, they have 45c. This is also reason why I have to adjust my working time, because my customers can't work around noon time.
We can call us lucky with just 20c today.
Next week, we will get our heatwave with 26c lasting 2 to 3 days. Ice cream time, off to the shops:hapfeet:

It reached 24C in the shade yesterday but felt hotter than normal in the sun. We're now in the stupid situation of having to use the sprinkler as plants, some of them having been established for years, already drooping badly  and the ground is cracking up. A lot of the plants are having a much reduced flowering period due to lack of water.

No sign of rain for the rest of the month according to the forecast - so it will probably rain within the next few days. :rolleyespink:

10 degrees over night in the greenhouse and warming up already, dare we say summer has arrived?

Very worrying for you @shiney.
We're having a very dry June here, but the ground is fine, as we still have some rain happening. I'm only needing to water potted plants, and I save my shower water while it heats up, to use on those as much as I can. I still need to use the watering can though, as many annuals are in big containers.

Dry and cloudy here with a good breeze. O'night low of 11 degrees, and 13 just now [approx. 8.15am] with a predicted high of about 16, with some sunnier spells later on. Looking at the radar pix, we're sitting in a tiny dry space just now, surrounded by rain. That happens quite often - we can just narrowly miss some dampness, which can be useful!

Yesterday turned out lovely. Mix of cloud and some short sunny spells in the morning, and sunnier through the afternoon and evening. A nice little breeze to keep me happy [;)] and a high of 19.

We had a beautiful sunny day yesterday, around 19. Made a welcome change from grey and chilly.

Forecast for the next week is looking pretty good, more sun than cloud and some warmer temperatures.

I haven’t totted up my readings from the rain gauge but don’t think we will be that far off average for June possibly slightly under but that’s after months and months of above average.

Sunny with a smidgen of light cloud and light breeze, 17c going to 24c. This weekend we go to 30+ for a few days.

That's the concern here, too. Having got used to constantly damp soil and a humid atmosphere (at least the plants that survived such conditions), they're not going to like a brutal change to the usual strong sunshine, 3 month drought and 30°C + temperatures to come.

It felt a bit nippy this morning when I had my early morning wander round the garden but it warmed up very quickly and is 16C in the shade at the moment. The only consolation about the hot sunny weather is that the solar panels are happy.
